NewsLatest News: September 23rd, 2010 The draft master plan is now completed and available for your review. You will find it under the Final Plan tab. The Action Plan Matrix contains a priority listing of all of the recommendations of the master plan. The Park and Recreation Board will be considering this draft master plan at their September 28 meeting. The meeting takes place at 7:00 PM in the West Conference Room of the Centre. Please come to this meeting and share your feedback on the master plan with them. Public Input Meeting: June 2, 2010 at 7:00 PM Thanks to all of you that have already been a part of the park master planning process.We have received a lot of great input which we want to categorize and share with you. To accomplish this next step we have scheduled a public master plan meeting on Wednesday, June 2 at 7:00 pm. The meeting will take place in the Heritage Ballroom of the Centre of Elgin. Our consultants, JJR LLC, and their partner PROS Consulting will share their findings from the previous input meetings, along with presenting the draft standards and draft master plan reflecting the parks and recreational needs of the community and potential opportunities for future facility developments. The purposeFollowing this presentation we will gather feedback and comments. This feedback will be used to develop a final Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
